CCPA to hold personal financial planning forum

---

With the purpose of offering key tools to professionals interested in strengthening their knowledge in personal financial planning, the Certified Public Accountants Association (CCPA by its initials in Spanish) will hold the Personal Financial Planning Forum this Thursday.

The event will take place at CCPA headquarters in Hato Rey from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“During the event, leading experts will explore key topics such as opportunities for CPAs in the financial world and the diversification of their practice by becoming a CPA-Financial Planner, highlighting their value as strategic advisors to clients,” CCPA President Cynthia Rijo Sánchez said.

In addition, updated information will be provided on economic and financial trends that impact planning decisions, while unconscious beliefs and patterns that can influence the management of financial resources will be identified, as well as how to overcome them.

Attendees will also be able to learn about protection, succession and financial independence strategies to ensure a sustainable future, and the importance of considering tax implications when designing retirement and financial independence plans will be highlighted.

“Financial planning is key to achieving our personal and professional goals,” Rijo Sánchez said. “Therefore, I invite the entire community to be part of this valuable forum designed to acquire practical tools and essential knowledge that promote economic well-being.”
