While the spotlight today was fixed on Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, earlier this month, on January 2nd, it was Puerto Rico’s Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon who captured headlines as she was sworn in as Governor of the U.S. territory. Having served as Resident Commissioner for Puerto Rico in the U.S. Congress, Governor Gonzalez-Colon received warm wishes from her former colleagues following her inauguration:
