Bad Bunny has successfully sold out all 30 dates for his Puerto Rico residency, titled “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” (“I Don’t Want to Leave Here”), as reported by various news sources.
In-person ticket sales were exclusively launched for local residents at various sites across the island last Wednesday, resulting in all tickets being sold out on the same day. The general sale for the remaining 21 performances sold out in less than four hours on Friday.
More than 2.5 million individuals signed up to receive the online pre-sale code, while efforts were made to block 1.8 million scalpers and bots from acquiring tickets. According to Variety, Move Concerts, the ticketing and live event firm managed by Bad Bunny’s manager Noah Assad, recorded a total of 400,000 tickets sold via online and in-person purchases.
Additionally, Bad Bunny’s latest track “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos” from his new album of the same name has gone viral on TikTok, igniting nostalgia with a new trend where users are sharing photographs of past memories. “DTMF” made its debut at No. 1 on TikTok Billboard Top 50 and had been featured in over 403,000 videos on the platform before it was suspended in the United States over the weekend as a federal ban on TikTok took effect.
