The Puerto Rico National Guard (PRNG) has confirmed that over 140 soldiers from the 482nd Chemical Company are set to depart for the Middle East. These soldiers will undertake a significant federal support mission.

The send-off ceremony, which took place on Sunday, was graced by the presence of Major General Miguel A. Méndez, the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, who praised the soldiers for their dedication and professionalism.

“Our troops are ready to face the challenges ahead with bravery and commitment. I am confident they will serve Puerto Rico honorably and carry out their mission successfully,” stated General Méndez during the occasion.

This operation is part of the worldwide initiatives where the PRNG contributes to fostering international peace and security. The soldiers of the 482nd Chemical Company are set to be instrumental in facilitating collaborative operations with partner forces.
