Griselle Morales set to be released following a successful operation

---

On Thursday, Juan Dalmau Ramírez, the candidate for governor from the Puerto Rican Independence Party and Alianza de País (Alliance), shared the good news that his wife, attorney Griselle Morales, would be discharged from the hospital following a successful surgical operation.

“The doctors have provided us with wonderful news after a successful surgery and overnight monitoring; Griselle will be released today, Thursday afternoon,” Dalmau stated in a written announcement.

Morales had surgery on Wednesday to address the complications from the brain hemorrhage she experienced and to manage other aneurysms that needed intervention to prevent future occurrences. She was hospitalized a few weeks ago due to a brain aneurysm.

“Along with my children, Gabriel and Sofia, and our extended family, we are deeply thankful to the medical and administrative personnel at the Mennonite Hospital of Caguas for the exceptional care and attention provided to Griselle,” the candidate mentioned.

Dalmau also expressed his gratitude towards the people of Puerto Rico for their ongoing prayers and support “during this challenging time.”

“We appreciate and thank the people of Puerto Rico for their unceasing prayers for her health and recovery,” he remarked.

For now, Morales will be resting completely at home as she continues her recovery process. Dalmau had scaled back his campaign activities to focus on his wife’s health, but has recently resumed his political engagements in light of the upcoming general elections set for next Tuesday, Nov. 5.
