On Tuesday, the Multisectoral Council in Support of the Homeless, in partnership with WIPR, unveiled a new collaboration aimed at increasing awareness regarding homelessness across the island through the morning show “Un Buen Día,” which airs on the television channel from Monday to Friday.
Beginning this month, the Council will have a dedicated segment on the program to present initiatives and resources available to assist the homeless, non-profit organizations providing services to the community, and equally vital, to share personal stories from individuals who have experienced homelessness and successfully rebuilt their lives.
During the announcement, WIPR President Jorge Pagán highlighted the significance of this initiative in advancing the channel’s educational and public service goals, as well as its crucial role in addressing homelessness in Puerto Rico.
“At WIPR, we are dedicated to delivering content that creates a positive influence in our community,” he stated.
