Cataño Municipality is set to host the 17th edition of the National Goat Festival this weekend along the San Juan Bay waterfront, featuring a cultural and tourism fair centered on the local goat industry.
“We invite you to experience the National Goat Festival, where you’ll have an unforgettable culinary adventure,” stated Mayor Julio Alicea Vasallo in a written announcement.
This weekend’s festivities will include tastings of goat fricassee, a farmer’s market, displays of goats and sheep, competitions, and live musical acts on both Saturday and Sunday.
Carlos Díaz, the festival’s founder, mentioned, “It’s a fantastic event that we’ve diligently organized since 2008, offering a fun and family-friendly atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.”
