Around 9:20 a.m. today, a driver ran over a man on the PR-149 road, in Manatí, police reports stated.
The victim, who’s name is not being released at this time, is an outsourced agent of the Federal Agency for Disaster Management (FEMA) who was preparing to go to work. On the way to work, he got lost and decided to ask around how to get to his destination, so he stepped out of his vehicle to cross the road and he was ran over, according to official reports.
The driver remained at the scene for interrogation. The incident is currently being investigated.
