PDP scheduled to convene government plan assembly on Sunday in Mayagüez

---

Juan Luis Camacho Semidei, Secretary General of the Popular Democratic Party (PDP), urged party supporters to join the government plan assembly this Sunday in Mayagüez.

At the gathering, significant proposals will be unveiled for Puerto Rico’s advancement, centering on what the institutional Government Plan will entail.

“The Government Plan will be showcased and ratified during the Assembly,” stated Camacho Semidei. “It will be a working session where delegates from the Program and Rules Assembly will witness the PDP’s social justice proposals aimed at enhancing the Puerto Rican quality of life for the next four years.”

In a parallel event, the New Progressive Party will convene its convention this weekend from Friday through Sunday at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan.

The PDP gathering on Sunday is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. at the Yagüez theater in Mayagüez, and it will welcome the public. Attendance from party members and citizens concerned about Puerto Rico’s future is anticipated.

The secretary general, along with a cohort of young PDP candidates, also invited the youth of the island to engage actively in the electoral process and register to vote in the upcoming November elections, thereby contributing to the necessary transformation of Puerto Rico.

“You must register by September 21 to ensure your involvement in this vital process for our island’s future,” Camacho Semidei emphasized.

Swanny Enit Vargas, president of PDP Youth and candidate for the House of Representatives, remarked: “Voter registration is a fundamental step for any citizen eager to make a tangible difference in the direction of our nation.”

“We encourage all young people to seize this opportunity to have their voices heard,” he urged. “Now is the time to be the architects of the change you wish to see.”
