Video: Suspected Killer of U.S. Lieutenant Captured in Puerto Rico

This morning, Federal agents (U.S. Marshals) and special agents of the Puerto Rico Police arrested Jeromy Pietri Napoleoni, wanted for the murder in Ponce of the young U.S. soldier, Lieutenant Jancarlo Rivera.

The intense search operation started yesterday afternoon in the Magas neighborhood area, in Guayanilla.

Pietri Napoleoni was hiding near a bridge at the entrance to the municipality, barefoot and according to what police agents told the press, the individual was in an area plagued by termites.

His mother, Ana Inés Napoleoni Medina, along with another son, have already been arrested for the murder of military officer, Lieutenant Jancarlo Rivera Lugo, on November 14 in El Tuque in Ponce.

In the early hours of today, authorities also arrested Pietri Napoleoni’s partner, Annette Paola Caquías Martínez, 22, who is pregnant, and was transported to a hospital for a physical examination, police said.
