30 bullet casings of the same caliber were found at the crime scene.
The authorities are investigating a murder reported at about 1:38 a.m. on Sunday on the PR-14 highway, kilometer 67.8 interior, in the El Quenepo sector in the Toíta neighborhood, in Cayey, Puerto Rico.
According to preliminary information, the authorities were alerted through the 9-1-1 Emergency System about a person wounded by a gunshot at the scene and when the agents of the Cayey police district appeared, they found the body of a woman shot inside an overturned Mitsubishi, Montero, blue color, year 2001.
The deceased was identified by her parents as Emyneth Marie López Rivera, 21 years old and a resident of Cayey. At the time of the events, the woman was in the car with her partner.
Paramedics from State Medical Emergencies appeared on the scene.
In addition, the vehicle was seized and it was transported to the Caguas Command.
