American influencer and boxer Logan Paul defended himself after receiving attacks since he moved to Puerto Rico for not paying taxes.
Logan Paul, characterized by his wars with celebrities, responded to Bad Bunny’s remarks, who did not pay them either and even called him a hypocrite.
It all started when the interpreter of “Titi me preguntó” mentioned the boxer in the documentary El Apagón: Aquí vive gente.
Bad Bunny included Logan in the list of 3,000 Millionaires who took advantage of moving to the island, just because of the tax break offered.
“I have heard rumors that there is a journalist who is doing a profile, I am feeling that the anti-Logan narrative on this island has had too much fire against me to completely ignore it,” Logan stated.
He also added: “At some point I had to express myself”, in an interview with Philip DeFranco’s YouTube channel.
Paul stressed that he is an ally of the people of the Island and exploded against Bad Bunny because he also has tax benefits in that country (which is not true).
The influencer revealed that Bad Bunny criticizes the beneficiaries of the law for foreign investors on the island and it turns out that he is the beneficiary.
“It seems hypocritical to me, Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican, living in Puerto Rico who privately benefits from the same tax benefits that he publicly condemns.”
He added: “And there are local Puerto Ricans who know it.”
Logan Paul justifies himself and explains what he does for Puerto Rico
“I’m obsessed with this place and I don’t have the answers to how I can do it right. I don’t know what the balance is in terms of equalizing the tax opportunity I’ve been given and how much I can give back to the island.”
Logan Paul clarified that despite not paying taxes on his residence, he has collaborated with the remodeling of gyms and has made multiple donations.
“I think it’s easy to single out me and my brother and put us as the main figures. We’ve been here a year and a half, we’ve remodeled two boxing gyms and we’ve donated hundreds of thousands of dollars,” he explained.
The influencer added: “Jake sponsored Amanda Serrano, a Puerto Rican boxer who was earning $10,000 per fight. She now earns millions under her boxing promotion company, we moved here to train.”
Likewise, Logan recalled the music video “El Apagón”, in which Bad Bunny includes a documentary by journalist Bianca Graulau, in which he talks about Law #60 and how the arrival of foreign investors has displaced the town.
In the publication “Aquí vive gente”, they refer to the Paul brothers.
Without a doubt, the media fight of these celebrities is going to another level.
