The woman was subjected last night to doping tests at the Institute of Forensic Sciences (ICF), to determine if she was under the influence of drugs.
Castro Leduc, 41, who is also the mother of a 16-year-old teenager who is in the custody of her aunt, was virtually at the court hearing to determine cause for arrest.
Judge Mártir Hernández heard the evidence presented by prosecutor Maribel Mojica, who yesterday also filed charges of sexual assault and child abuse against the stepfather of the autistic girl.
Soto Rivera, who on Saturday afternoon went to a police station to report that for three years he had sexually assaulted his autistic stepdaughter until he got her pregnant, was charged and is being held in jail for not posting bail of $300,000. set by Judge Juan de León.
The girl, who barely utters a few words, is hospitalized in a delicate condition in a hospital in the metropolitan area.
Soto Rivera, 49, had allegedly been having sex with the autistic girl since she was 10 years old.
The agents activated the protocols on Saturday and went to a hospital in Caguas, where the girl was with her mother. The individual and her partner had taken the girl to an emergency room with abdominal pain, and doctors realized that she was 34 weeks pregnant.
Upon learning of the diagnosis, Soto Rivera rushed out of the hospital and went to the police dept. where he turned himself in, remaining in custody.
