A group of young adults or teenagers filmed themselves on video damaging public property in a community. The police is investigating the video which was published on social media earlier today, for possible charges.
In other news, Judge Edwin Otero Ortiz, of the Carolina Court, agreed to reduce the global bail of $475,000 imposed on trucker Juan Meléndez Suárez for criminal charges related to the murder of Carlos Misael Clemente Rosario, which occurred last Wednesday when he was defending himself from an attack with a bat and was captured on video by a security camera.
The Press Office of the Judicial Power of Puerto Rico confirmed to the press that the magistrate modified the total amount of the bail to $30,000, at the rate of $10,000 per charge.
Meléndez Suárez was charged with murder, shooting in a public place and not having a license to carry weapons.
The murder for which Meléndez Suárez was accused occurred near the Gilberto Concepción de Gracia School, which is located in the Villa Fontana urbanization.
