Tourist in San Juan reported a theft yesterday afternoon, in events that occurred in a room at the Marriot Hotel, which is located on Ashford Avenue in the Condado area of the capital city in Puerto Rico.
According to the preliminary report, the victim, Joseph Oluwafemi, a resident of the state of New Jersey, indicated that someone stole $1,000.00 in cash from him, which was inside a black Calvin Klein bag inside his hotel room.
Agent Andy Aponte, assigned to the Loíza P.D. precinct, made a preliminary investigation and referred the case to the Property Division of the San Juan CIC for further investigation.
