A tourist who fell froman area of the San Cristóbal Canyon in Aibonito-Barranquitas, Puerto Rico was rescued alive, Tuesday afternoon, the Police reported.
According to the Police, several tourists were in the place when young Olivia Janoy Maller, 21, fell down the cliff.
Agents assigned to the rescue unit, together with Emergency Management personnel, managed to rescue her and stabilized her and then gave her medical attention in a hospital institution.
She was transported by paramedics Martínez and Torres to the Aibonito Mennonite Hospital with injuries to her right leg and ankle area.
Her condition is reported to be stable.
