Victoria’s Secret first Down Syndrome model is a Boricua

Sofia is part of the new inclusion Victoria’s Secret campaign “Love Cloud Collection” and shares with models like Hailey Bieber and Taylor Hill.

“The Love Cloud Collection is an important moment in the evolution of the brand. From the cast of incredible women who bring the collection to life, to the incredible inclusive spirit on set, this campaign is an important part of the new Victoria’s Secret standard that we are creating,” Victoria’s Secret Chief Creative Director Raúl Martínez said in a press release.

The launch of the collection will be on February 17. “The wait was worth it. After two years of work, welcome to a new level of comfort”, indicated the company in its social networks.

Sofía launched herself to international fame in 2019 after fulfilling one of her greatest wishes, parading on the New York Fashion Week catwalk. At the time, she was part of Puerto Rican designer Marissa Santiago’s fashion show at The Society Fashion Week.

Since then, her career has skyrocketed, and always accompanied by her mischievous and charismatic personality, she shows that there are no limits to dreams.

Two years ago, the company began to reinvent itself and for this, it recruited diverse models, who represented all kinds of women, leaving aside for a moment their well-known “angels”.

Also, she decided to cancel her famous annual parade, although she does not rule out resuming it in a renewed way and in keeping with the times.
