During the past few hours, the managers of several teams of the Superior Double A Baseball League expressed their dismay at the death of Bryan Osorio Soto, whose murder was reported yesterday, Tuesday, by the Police.
Among the teams who mourned the death of the player is the Carolina team, for which Osorio Soto, 30, sported the uniform throughout the tournament in 2021.
“The Carolina Giants family mourns the loss of Bryan Osorio, who played with us the last season. We ask for a lot of prayer and strength for the family of Bryan Osorio in these difficult times, “said the team through a publication on the social media Facebook.
Another team that held public demonstrations after the athlete’s death was that of Salinas, in which Osorio Soto served as a receiver during the 2019 season.
“Sad news for Los Peces Voladores de Salinas and sports in general,” said the ninth, who asked the public to raise “a prayer for the eternal rest of his soul.”
According to the Police, Osorio Soto’s body was found shot yesterday inside a white bus of the Ford brand, model Econoline, which was at the intersection of highways PR-829 and PR-679, in the town of Dorado, Puerto Rico .
A call to the police station in the coastal municipality alerted the police to the presence of the body in the aforementioned area.
Agents of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Vega Baja is in charge of the investigation.
