A 24-year-old man died Sunday at 3:50am after a car accident on the Martínez Nadal expressway in Guaynabo.
Police identified the young man as Ángel Rohena Díaz, a young successful local business owner.
According to information from authorities, Rohena Díaz was driving a Porsche 911 Carrera S in the direction of San Patricio (Guaynabo) at 3:50 a.m. The man, who was allegedly speeding, lost control of the vehicle at kilometer 4.2 and hit a dirt slope and then hit a tree, causing part of the car’s body to split.
As the march continued, he hit a second tree and the man got pinned in the car’s wreckage.
Rosaura González and agent Antonio Hernández Meléndez from the Bayamón Highway Patrol Division investigated the scene.
The expressway was closed until the investigation was completed.
