Five individuals were murdered last Tuesday in front of the La Lomita mini-market and bar, on Los Oliques street, in the Certenejas neighborhood in Cidra, Puerto Rico, in the eleventh massacre registered this year.
All the victims were armed with guns. Two other young men were injured, one of them seriously.
A video in which the horrendous murder of the four was recorded last Tuesday in Cidra was made public today, while it was reported that one of the wounded that night died today so that the total of victims of the massacre rose to five.
The video, taken from a security camera of the La Lomita business, located in the Certenejas de Cidra neighborhood, shows the group of friends sharing in front of the business when a vehicle approaches from where they begin to shoot with automatic weapons.
From the first burst, two of the men fell to the ground, one fell wounded, but took out a gun and began to shoot sitting on the ground and another of the wounded managed to get up to take a few steps towards the vehicle while also firing a weapon.
The one who chased the car was hit by several bullets again and fell to the ground, but got up again, took refuge behind a vehicle and continued to respond with shots. When he couldn’t take it anymore, he took a few steps back, sat on the floor, and flopped back.
The one who was sitting moved towards the door of the business while he yelled something to someone who leaned out when a new gust hit him and he fell backwards.
The three men who arrived in the vehicle left the scene, but a few seconds later they returned along with another accomplice and between the four they approached the bodies that were lying on the ground and each one was shot again multiple times.
The killers left in two vehicles.
