“Do not enter! Do not enter!”, Was heard incessantly shouting, apparently to José Javier Bobonis Blanco, in the midst of the tragic death of his wife María Paola Hernández Agosto, last Friday, October 29, 2021.
The soldier, according to a version offered to investigators, sought to prevent both María Paola’s daughters and his own 9-year-old son from witnessing the scene in which the 33-year-old woman lay bloody on the floor, next to their bed.
A video of the common areas of Colinas del Bosque in Cupey, obtained by NotiCel, gives an account of a night of natural sounds typical of the night – crickets and coquís – and of a neighbor calmly walking a dog, until exactly at 9 o’clock: 31pm a single shot is heard and immediately a desperate shouting.
“No, no, no! Don’t come in, don’t come in, don’t come in, noooo!” A man shouted, immediately after hearing expressions of what seem to be girls in shock.
The Department of the Family admitted to the press last week that both María Paola’s girls and Bobonis Blanco’s son were at the scene at the time of the misfortune. The minors were located with relatives.
The Municipal Police, the first to arrive on the scene, investigated, as reported by Bobonis Blanco, until friends and relatives of the deceased raised doubts about that version, alleging that the young woman was the victim of a pattern of violence and terror by Bobonis Blanco.
The confusing scene, which places a left-handed woman with the weapon immediately near her right side and between her clothes, the authorities, according to sources, are inclined to declare it a suicide because there is a “contact shot”, which does not involve the intervention of someone else.
