ROYAL RUMBLE caught on video between fans of the Superior National Basketball at the RUBEN RODRIGUEZ Colosseum in Bayamón, immediately after the Vaqueros Vs Mets game ended. Thankfully no one used a gun.
Supported by the offensive management of Javier Mojica, who contributed 22 points, the Bayamón Vaqueros won the first game of the semifinal series against the Guaynabo Mets on the same day that their leader Nelson Colón was announced as the new coach of the National Team men’s basketball.
The match closed 83-68 in favor of the defending champions of the National Superior Basketball (BSN), who take a 1-0 lead.
The Cowboys started with a quick attack in the first set that gave them an 18-11 lead supported -mainly- by four 3-pointers and a fierce defense under the Mets’ basket.
Bayamón had a 10-point advantage. However, the Mets managed to dismantle it to finish behind by five points (21-26) at the end of the first 10 minutes.
