A 61-year-old man and a 77-year-old man were unharmed after their apartments in the Diego Zalduondo public housing caserío were attacked by three armed individuals who fired more than 200 hundred bullets with assault rifles and high caliber weapons, damaging the windows and the façade.
The attack occurred at 12:30 am yesterday, leaving the residents of this low crime rate caserío terrified.
The agents of the Luquillo Police and other municipalities were alerted by an avalanche of calls from people frightened by the large number of shots.
The case was handed over to the Fajardo Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC), and it is hoped that the investigation will serve to identify the shooters.
