Andrea Ojeda, the young woman known on social networks as “La Peki” arrived this afternoon at the Police Area Command in Caguas to file a complaint against the former world boxing champion Juanma López.
The influencer, whose Instagram profile has more than 110,000 followers, was making arrangements for an agent of the Domestic Violence Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) to initiate the investigation process against the boxer.
Earlier in the day, the young woman reported that the athlete had beaten her on multiple occasions, had hanged her and had even squeezed her “private parts” in stories published on her social network.
“I left Juanma because he is an abusive man. He is an abuser, he is a man who has alcoholism problems. When Juanma drinks, he transforms into a man that he is not. He is a man who has problems, who makes films in his head of insecurity, “said La Peki.
The young woman accompanied her statement with some photos in which she appears with blows to her eyes as a result of alleged beatings by the fighter.

The montage of photos includes the statement: “Here is my beautiful relationship, and the beautiful makeup that Juan Manuel López Rivera alias Juama the champion did for me.”
“All the time I was silent. I went to the barracks many times and cried and cried and did not denounce him thinking about his children, not doing him public harm and what was coming next, but it is over. I got tired ”, she sentenced.
Likewise, the young woman published in a story of her profile on her Instagram a video allegedly recorded by López in which she lost control of her, insults her and tried to grab her and attack her.
The video includes the phrase “here you have your champion. If tomorrow I wake up dead, she killed me ”.
“I had been wondering if I was going to do this for a long time. I’m shaking. I need to do it to carry the message that I am real and that women value themselves. I want women who are going through something (similar) not to remain silent and to know that they are not alone, ”she added.
López had previously been accused of domestic violence in 2015, when his then-partner, Geraldine Crespo, sued in San Juan for having suffered a trauma to the face as a result of a blow.
