This is how the Olympic medalist Jasmine Camacho-Quinn felt before her arrival in Puerto Rico today, Tuesday, to celebrate with her gold medal from the Tokyo Olympic Games.
On the island she will also meet her family, whom she has not seen since she went out to compete in Japan.
“I don’t know what to expect, seeing what will happen,” said the speed hurdler upon arrival at the JetBlue airline terminal that will take her to Puerto Rico today.
The athlete acknowledged that she is eager to see her family, and understands that it will be a very emotional moment when she can finally hug them.
