🔺️32 Arrested, Alligators seized in Drug Bust

The Bureau of Drugs, Narcotics and Illegal Weapons processed during the early hours of today, Wednesday, 12 search warrants in different towns on the island as part of the special plan “Rescuing Communities”.

Commander Wilson Lebrón, director of the office, announced that the agents have arrested 32 people for the dealing and transfer of controlled substances, firearms and several who are being investigated for murders.

The interventions are the result of investigations, surveillance plans or confidences received about the operation of drug spots in communities, he explained.

On Robles street of the Talleres community, in Santurce, a pair of brothers were arrested, one of whom was on probation, and had 31 grams of cocaine, 140 pills of the synthetic drug xtasy, two bullet chargers, a container of marijuana, $ 2,213 in cash, and three alligators.

While, in the Las Gardenias residential complex in Bayamón, a 26-year-old man was arrested, who had 111 cylindrical containers of different sizes with marijuana, 49 envelopes with cocaine, 45 ‘decks ”of heroin, 100 capsules of“ crack ” ‘and $597.

A 17-year-old teen was apprehended in the Los Laureles residential area in Bayamón and a woman was arrested for obstruction of justice, after occupying 115 pills of controlled drugs, 64 cylindrical containers with marijuana, 49 sachets with cocaine and $ 199 in cash.

In addition, two search warrants were served in the Bucaná sector of the Cañaboncito neighborhood, in Caguas, where four people between 20 and 38 years of age were arrested.

Other arrests took place in Aguadilla, Aibonito, Arecibo, Fajardo, Guayama, Humacao, Mayagüez, Ponce, Utuado, and Yauco.
