One of the recordings of the judicial hearings in the case of Andrea Ruiz Costas was Leaked today and it shows the moment when she was denied a restraining order against the person who murdered her a month later, Miguel Ocasio Santiago.
The recording that was published by ~ corresponds to the March 26 hearing with Judge Ingrid Alvarado of the Caguas Court, in which Ocasio was present and lasted 12 minutes.
Before starting, the judge can be heard asking “why was the case filed at said time?”. She even questioned why she had not appeared the day before (March 25), to which the deputy present in the hearing replied that the woman was requesting a restraining order that day. That order was denied.
In the recording, Andrea is heard narrating a pattern of harassment by Ocasio, to which he did not refute, argue or said anything.
The woman told the judge that after ending her relationship with Ocasio, he did not stop looking for her, and even threatened he was about to reveal intimate images that he obtained without permission from her phone.
At the end of the hearing, the judge said: “Anything else to add lady? … Based on the evidence presented in the complaint, the Court determines No Cause at this stage of the procedure. That would be all from me.”
