The Police reported a serious assault that occurred on Sunday, at 11 pm, where a woman was assaulted at the Meliyan Condominium, in San Juan.
According to the police, the complainant alleged, in circumstances that are under investigation, that a man uttered profanity at her and attacked her with a tube on her left rib cage.
The badly injured woman was transported by paramedics from the Municipal Emergency Department of San Juan to a nearby hospital, where she was evaluated by the doctor on duty. Her exact health condition is unknown.
The case was referred to agents of the San Juan Criminal Investigation dept. to continue with the investigation.
