Puerto Rico Police agents arrested Carlos Cotto Cruz, A.K.A. “Wasa,” this morning in Orocovis, one of the most wanted for being a suspect in several crimes, including murder.
Cotto Cruz was indicted along with six other people for murder, conspiracy and violations of the firearms Law.
This had been mentioned initially during the investigation into the murder of three policemen on the Baldorioty De Castro expressway in January.
Wasa had a federal drug trafficking case in 2015. A reward of $25,000 was being offered to anyone who could provide info leading to his arrest. He has more than 100 murder charges.
