Man who beat girlfriend, fractured her Skull ARRESTED in Dorado

The Police Bureau confirmed that the Carolina Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) arrested at his residence located in Dorado the man accused of assaulting his partner in Canóvanas.

Nathaniel Cruz, 27, had an arrest warrant with a bond of $ 500,000 for violation of article 3.2 (b) for aggravated abuse, when serious bodily harm is inflicted on a person, under Law 54 for Prevention and Intervention with Domestic Violence.

According to the Press Office of the Police Bureau, the defendant was a fugitive from the authorities since the events occurred on Sunday night, on highway PR-188 near The Outlets 66 Mall, in Canóvanas.

According to the complaint, the events occurred at 9:10 p.m. After the woman was sharing with her partner in Loíza and when they passed by her place, she stopped attacking her in different parts of her body.

Then he took her to her residence. She boarded her vehicle and went to a hospital in Cupey where she received first aid.

At about 2:07 a.m. On Monday, an agent called the Canóvanas Police Dept. to report that there was a detained woman in the hospital who was “brutally beaten in the face” for events that occurred in her jurisdiction.

The victim was diagnosed with a fracture of the left eye socket, laceration on that side of the face and contusions to her hands and forearms, for which she was hospitalized in a condition of care.

Agent Janet Morales, attached to the Carolina Domestic Violence Division, together with prosecutor Luis Rivera Méndez, investigated the case.
