A young woman was shot at around 12:30 midnight today, Saturday, in the Los Lirios caserío, in front of building number 1 in Santurce, Puerto Rico the local police reported.
According to preliminary information, a call was received through the 9-1-1 emergency system warning of some shots and when the police arrived at the scene they found a woman identified as Michelle Alomar, 18, with a gunshot wound to one of her legs .
It is reported that she was transported to the Centro Medico hospital in Río Piedras (San Juan) and her condition is stable.
Agents assigned to the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps took charge of the investigation.
