US Military sets up mobile Morgues

The US Military is assisting the Government of Puerto Rico with mobile morgues, due to the lack of electricity and space in the island’s morgues and in forensic facilities. Each unit holds 15 bodies and can work 24 hours a day with diesel fuel, also personnel will be present at all times. The units will work indefinitely, as there is no time frame set as to when power will be restored. Currently only 10% or less of the island has intermittent electricity and 60% or less has water service.
