Puerto Rico Police enforcing 24/7 Lock-down on Citizens

Puerto Rico Police officers monitor the streets and enforce the 24-7 mandatory Lockdown ordered by Governor Wanda Vasquez to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. The video below depicts unaware citizens in Barrio Obrero neighborhood in Santurce gathered and playing Domino games as usual. The officers advice they need to stay in their houses.

 

An island-wide curfew is also in place, from 5am to 9pm you may only go out for emergencies, medical appointments and to re-plenish supplies. From 9pm to 5am No one is permitted to go out, unless you have a real emergency or you work as a first responder. All Shopping Malls need to be closed. Only Pharmacies, supermarkets and first aid suppliers may open.
