Video shows how easily “SECURED” luggage is opened

Hundreds of passengers have recently reported their luggage being tampered with, items stolen and even complete sets of luggage being stolen at SJU -Puerto Rico airport, after Hurricane Maria destroyed the island, which has caused people to fly to the island with much needed supplies in their suitcases. May of the luggage doesn’t seem to have any trace of tampering and some even have locks to “protect” it’s contents from being stolen or “snooped on”. The vast majority of items being reported stolen are solar chargers, solar lights, battery operated fans, canned food, alkaline batteries, water filters, power generators & inverters, and other electronics.

The following video shows how easily airport employees or anyone with access to the luggage from an aircraft can open a suitcase without leaving a trace.
