FEMA warns of supply Air Drops

After heavy rains poured on the island for a few days, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) warned today that “aircraft that can not land to unload food and water will air-drop it’s supplies in an assigned area on each town.”

“It may need to be airdropped from the aircraft where a landing is not a viable option.” This line of action is needed for safety and to ensure that necessary supplies arrive to the survivors.” the agency said.

They further urged the people to: “Please stay out of the air drop area until the aircraft leaves.”

Yesterday afternoon a flood warning was issued by the NWS for at least 25 towns on the island.
