Tourists are being “TARGETED” by Criminals in San Juan

Several tourists have been victims of crime in Puerto Rico’s capital city this holiday season. On the latest case, a tourist was robbed of his gold Rolex watch valued at over $8,000, $500 in cash, a cell phone valued at $900 and another property after being hit late last night on the pathway that leads to LA PERLA and the cemetery of Old San Juan.

Than Duy Nugwen, a resident of Orlando, Florida, was the victim of four armed individuals who mugged him at 11:49 at night when he was apparently at one of the descents leading to the La Perla neighborhood.

According to the police report, the tourist declined medical assistance. The case is being investigated by agents of the CSI of San Juan.
