An Earthquake of magnitude 3.0 was recorded this afternoon southwest of Mayaguez, the local PR Seismic Network reported.
There is no Tsunami warning for Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.
According to preliminary data, the quake originated at 4:35 p.m. 4.59 kilometers southwest of Mayaguez. It was located at latitude 18.183, longitude -67.137, at a depth of 32 kilometers.
People on social media mentioned that the quake was even felt in municipalities in and around San Sebastián. Damage if any, is being assessed by local authorities.
