The Governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló, responded today to Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, saying he would be more than willing to work with the company to energize the Island with solar technology as till this day, less than 10% of the island has power and people are dying in hospitals and houses because of lack of treatment.
Through a tweet, Rosselló invited the entrepreneur to talk and to turn the energy re-establishment of the Island into Tesla’s emblematic project.
The exchange of “tweets” began after an online user, Scott Starpf told the entrepreneur the possibility of electrifying the country with the most advanced technologies created by the mega-company that is dedicated primarily to creating cars, solar panels and energy storage.
