Several shootings on 3 kings day celebration turned the festive traditional day of peace and joy into a deadly “wild west” where people aren’t safe on the streets. One shooting, reported in Santa Isabel, wounded 7 innocent “bystanders” and 1 ended up dead, allegedly the target of the attack, after a car passing by fired towards a food truck with an alleged AK47, early morning on Jan 6th. One of the wounded is in critcal condition.
Isla Verde Shooting (caught on video)
The second shooting was reported in Carolina (Isla Verde) at around 9am where a group of individuals were recorded from nearby buildings, shooting towards a man wearing a blue shirt. Many videos of the incident have been published on social media and word on the street is that the crime is drug-related. Authorities are still investigating.
