After 2 weeks, The Elderly finally receive Aid

The first lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló said today that thousands of elderly people began receiving the necessary aids and food as part of the United for Puerto Rico project, which was joined by AARP and the Office of the Attorney General for the Elderly.

“Our seniors receive their food and basic needs thanks to all the people who have been donating to #UnidosPorPuertoRico. We are grateful for AARP’s decision to be a part of this initiative and to help us work with this population that so badly needs all of us, “said the first lady.

Rosselló detailed that yesterday aid arrived at 19 elderly homes: Égida Emiliano Pol, San Juan; Égida Colegio de Abogados, San Juan; Égida Altura of San Juan, San Juan; Cond. Trigo Housei, San Juan; Ramos Home Care Bayamón; Hogar La Casa Casa en San Juan; Juana Díaz Housing, Juana Díaz; Égida Los Cantares, Bayamón; Égida Ciudad Felix, Cataño; Aires de Manantial, Trujillo Alto; CASM Remanzo de Paz, Manatí; Jardín del Atlántico, Aguadilla; Elderly Hyde Park, San Juan; El Remanso Elderly, Carolina; Casa Corales, Aguas Buenas; Royal Gardens, Bayamón; Hogar Amor de Jesús, Bayamón; Centro Mónica 2, Bayamón.

Meanwhile, on Monday they arrived at: Égida Ocean Park Tower, San Juan; Égida Enfermeras in San Juan; Vázquez Home Care, Bayamón; Hogar Ebenezer in San Juan; Hogar Lirios 1 & Hogar Lirios 2 in San Juan; Égida ABCIR Meléndez in Guaynabo; Hogar Jardín Dorado, Dorado; Hogar la Bendición in Bayamón, and Proyecto Vivienda Transitoria Violencia Doméstica in Caguas.
