Colegio Universitario de San Juan (CUNI), an institution administered by the Municipality of San Juan and recognized for its accessibility and academic excellence, will hold its open house this Friday starting at 8 a.m.
High school students and adults will have the opportunity to learn about CUNI academic programs, guidance on financial aid, and the professional development options it offers.
“Since the beginning of this administration in 2021, we have worked to strengthen CUNI as a quality and accessible educational option for all,” San Juan Miguel Romero Lugo said. “With a tuition fee of only $85 per credit, we provide a real alternative for more people to complete their studies without the economic factor being a barrier. At this open house, visitors will be able to explore our facilities, meet our professors, and discover firsthand all the opportunities that our institution offers.”
CUNI offers bachelor of science degrees in sustainable development technology, computerized accounting, information systems, nursing science and criminal justice arts. It also offers associate of science degrees in criminal justice, nursing, information systems, computerized accounting, office systems administration, electronics engineering technology, electrical power engineering technology and instrumentation technology.
CUNI also offers certifications for health professionals in specialized areas such as forensic nursing, and is the headquarters of the cadets academy of the San Juan Municipal Police.
