This weekend marks a historical moment in Humacao as Rosamar Trujillo Plumey is officially sworn in as the municipality’s first female mayor.
The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Marcelo Trujillo Panisse Coliseum.
Trujillo Plumey, the daughter of the late Mayor Marcelo Trujillo Panisse, who governed the area for over twenty years, expressed her intent to honor her father’s legacy by taking charge of the municipal administration with a strong dedication to social change, economic progress, and community welfare.
