This Tuesday, the four gubernatorial candidates for Puerto Rico will engage in the “Destiny 2024 Debate,” set to be aired live at 8:30 p.m. on TeleOnce.

“The campaign managers for all four candidates have confirmed their attendance,” stated Stephanie Castro, who is the vice president of news for the station. “In light of this, we are geared up to provide our viewers with a lively production that deviates from the typical formats we are accustomed to.”

Castro mentioned that in the specific situation of Puerto Rican Independence Party-Alliance candidate Juan Dalmau Ramírez, whose spouse Griselle Morales experienced a stroke last week, he is eager and intends to be present for the debate.

“Naturally, his participation hinges on the health status of his wife,” she remarked. “We hope for her continued and satisfactory recovery.”

The candidates, Jesús Manuel Ortiz from the Popular Democratic Party, Jenniffer González Colón of the New Progressive Party, Javier Jiménez Pérez from the Dignity Project, and Dalmau Ramírez, will engage in multiple rounds of questioning where they will outline their proposals regarding the most pressing issues affecting Puerto Rico.

The debate program will begin with a segment from “Jugando Pelota Dura” and will wrap up with an analysis provided by Voz y Voto.
