From The Star Team

On Wednesday, the island’s Senate and House of Representatives, together with the Capitol Superintendency and the Office of Legislative Services, revealed the launching of a collection center aimed at gathering items for families impacted by Hurricane Milton in Florida.

This center will be operational today and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., located in Plaza San Juan Bautista, directly across from Plaza de la Democracia on the Capitol grounds in Puerta de Tierra.

Contributions of non-perishable food, health care supplies, personal care products, and bottled water will be welcomed.

The leaders of the legislative institutions urged all Puerto Ricans to participate in this urgent humanitarian effort and assist families in Florida who are in need.
