Suge Knight, the infamous music mogul and convicted felon, has sparked some wild rumors about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s supposed marital troubles.
According to Knight, the FBI handed over some footage from a raid on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ house to Affleck, and in those tapes, the actor supposedly saw some compromising stuff about Lopez.
Now, it’s unclear what’s actually in those videos, but Suge seems pretty convinced that whatever Affleck saw has him rethinking his relationship with J.Lo, and he believes the couple is headed for a split.
In a recent episode of “Collect Calls With Suge Knight,” he shared this theory, claiming the FBI showed Affleck the footage to give him a heads-up before any potential charges against Diddy went public. He even suggested the videos show Lopez involved in some shady activities, possibly connected to the infamous 1999 nightclub shooting where rapper Shyne took the fall for Diddy, who was dating J.Lo at the time.
“They know J.Lo lied, said the gun was Shyne’s, and sent that man to prison. She knew it was Puffy’s,” Knight claimed.
As for why Affleck got to see the footage, Suge implied it was some kind of “white privilege” thing, where Affleck was given the opportunity to distance himself from the drama before it all came out.
“I’m sure they said, ‘We want to show you some things about your wife,’” Knight alleged, adding that he thinks this info was enough for Affleck to want out of the marriage.
Fans on social media have mixed reactions. Some think there could be some truth to it. One user commented, “I figured this was the case when the divorce rumors started. Ben doesn’t want to be involved in this mess.” Another said, “If Diddy kept old tapes, maybe Suge knows something.”
But others are dismissing Knight’s claims, considering his incarceration and the unlikelihood that the FBI would share such sensitive info with a random citizen.
