Hurricane impact on sea and river “double punished” residents of Juana Díaz.
The Manzanilla community on the coast of Juan Díaz was double-punished during the passage of Hurricane Maria. The strong waves hit residences, while the Jacaguas River overtopped it’s banks. Mayra Acevedo reports:
