Police officers captured a fairly large alligator near a house in Comerío, Puerto Rico at 9:50 this morning.
The sighting of the reptile, which was preliminarily reported to measure between 5’10” to 6 feet in length, was reported by a resident of the area in the Rabo de Buey sector of the Cedrito neighborhood, highway 781.
The alligator was captured by Agent Dueño and Lieutenant Pedro Reyes, together with Sergeant Rivera of the Comerío Municipal Police. The agents informed personnel of the Environmental Watch Corps of the Guayama area.
