An 18-year-old woman, who according to the Police was found early this morning walking without clothes, on De Diego Avenue, in Santurce (San Juan), was taken to a hospital where she quietly stated that she had been the victim of a sexual assault on a date with a young man he met through social media.
The people who found her walking naked knew the young woman’s relatives, covered her with clothes and called her mother, who took her to the hospital, where the sexual assault protocols were activated.

The versions under investigation suggest that the young woman may have been a victim of sexual assault on the shoreline of the beach in Ocean Park.
The victim is receiving medical treatment in a hospital. And today she will receive help from psychologists.
A group of agents from the Sex Crimes Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of San Juan was activated this morning to attend the complaint.
Last month, on September 12, a 22-year-old woman was found by tourists walking without any clothes along PR-165 in the El Caracol sector of Dorado. The Police also activated the sexual assault protocol at that time.
Between January 1 and October 27, the Police have 164 violations in their statistics, an increase of 37 (29/13%) compared to last year. The San Juan area has 29 rape cases, an increase of 15 (93.33%) compared to the same period in 2020.
