The Puerto Rico Police investigates reports that an individual fired at multiple shots with a firearm against the people that were in the stands of the ball park of the Torrecillas parcels in Morovis.
A man was shot in the back as a result of the attack.
The shooting happened around 5:00 p.m. and caused people to flee the sports facility, where a fundraising activity was taking place.
When the agents arrived at the scene they found blood on the stands and dozens of bullet casings.
The wounded man was transported to a nearby hospital, his condition in unknown at the time of this report.
Agents of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of the Arecibo police area will take charge of the investigation.
