Scientists ask US Senate to declassify UFO recorded in Puerto Rico

The secrets around a UFO that was sighted in Puerto Rico could come to light, after the request of a community of 55 scientists who assure that the material recorded on the phenomenon is one of the most interesting on record.

The scientists sent a letter to the United States Senate asking it to declassify the documents and information of dozens of cases, but among which the sighting of this UFO on the Island stands out.

In a letter to a group of senators, a 55-page report from the Scientific Coalition for Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (SCU) is mentioned, which brings together these scientists, engineers and ex-military personnel.

The report argues that a series of images recorded by a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) plane over Puerto Rico are the “most convincing” of all UFO videos that have been published in the last times.

According to SCU spokesman Jonathan Lace, images taken by a National Security plane over Puerto Rico on April 25, 2013 “show an object believed to be up to five feet in length and moving at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour near the ground before seemingly plunging into the ocean and splitting in two. “

There is no explanation for an object being capable of flying underwater at more than 90 miles per hour with minimal impact when entering the water, and in the air at 120 miles per hour, at low altitude through a residential zone without navigation lights, and eventually being able to split into two separate objects. No birds, no balloons, no aircraft and no known drones have that capability, “the SCU stated in the incident report.

Those were the conclusions reached by the SCU scientists after spending more than a thousand hours researching the phenomenon.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Lace said that the entity considers that the images – of what is known as UAP in English or unidentified aerial phenomena – of Aguadilla from 2013 “offer the most convincing evidence of unusual flight characteristics. of this UAP “.

Although the group of scientists does not have an “official” position or theory on the case, they want the United States Senate to open the door for them to continue investigating.

That is why they sent a letter to Senators Mark Warner and Marco Rubio urging the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) to release more information on UFOs.

“The SCU believes that all government data regarding unidentified aerospace objects should be made available to the public for open investigation by the wider scientific community, provided that such data does not compromise the sources or methods of data collection.” they wrote in a statement.

“A thorough scientific investigation of such data could uncover valuable information related to both national security and advancing our understanding of physics, aerospace engineering, and our world,” they added.

This scientific community hopes that a Pentagon report on UFOs, requested by the Senate Intelligence Committee, will be published before June 1.

Senator Rubio is the author of a project entitled Intelligence Authorization Act for fiscal year 2021 that was presented on behalf of the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 17, 2020. And that is published on the website of the United States Senate.

“The Committee supports the efforts of the Office of Naval Intelligence Task Force to standardize the Office of Naval Intelligence to standardize the collection and reporting of unidentified aerial phenomena,” he says.
